Halloween Sock Swap

>> 27 October 2008

As usual I was sucked into the "I am not going to do another swap- unless of course it is a Halloween Sock Swap. Last Tuesday I came home to a package on the front porch and was it wonderful. It was full of stitch markers, Halloween candles, mulling spices, a Halloween mug (that I am already using) some wonderful sock yarn and a beautiful pair of socks. And they fit perfect. Thank you Darlene. It really was a great swap package.

Here are some of my goodies
Check out the stitch makers. Aren't they spooky..

What are you doing tonight?

I took possession of this today at work. Dan is pretty interested in trying it.

I also finished the socks for the Halloween Secret Swap. These are off to Bradford, Pa with some other goodies. Which means now I can actually start to work on some other projects.
Isn't the label cute?!

The catch up post

>> 06 October 2008

Where did September go? That is one of my favorite months and it just passed by. But I love October so I guess it is not so bad. I look foward to pumkins, mums, warm cider w/Captain Morgan and Halloween (just in case my secret swapper is spying). We had a really busy weekend. Here is a summary for those of you who are wondering what I was up to:

Saturday we visited an Amish Farm. There was a great variety of pumpkins and gourds

Stopped at a wedding Saturday night-
Spencer, Annette, Scott, Dan and me

These speak for themselves
And our little decorators, Elizabeth and Jack.

Friday night baking with the girls. If you look close you may see a cocktail or two amongst the baking supplies!

Yhew- that was a full weekend. Great times spent with great friends. I don't think it gets any better!
