Vacation

This is what we do when the lake is rough- we knit and blog! The lake always seems to be rough so we have been enjoying the knitting, Olympics, and trying to update our blogs. Lisa just started her blog so take a minute and check out the Bruised Orange. That is the Diagonal Sweater I am working on in case your wondering. I think I may start the sleeves today- unless the lake calms down.

Dish Rag Tag

I am sure a few of you are asking just what is that. Well is is kinda of like a relay race but you have to knit a dish rag and mail it to the next person on your team. We have a team of 12 and they are located from California to Georgia to Minnesota. The race starts Friday when the box (baton) is mailed to me to get started. So when I get that box don't call, e-mail or bother me. I have a dish rag to knit and get in the mail! From time to time I'll post an update- I am sure you will be interested in how my team is doing. And no you can't start a head of time. Emily will be placing the pattern in the box- plus knitters do not cheat!

Happy List

I am taking a cue from Liz today and posting a happy list. What is that me makes me happy?

1. My husband who also happens to be my best friend!
2. Family- were would be without them.

4. Spending time with my friends at the lake.

5. My cottage- I just love it and love being there.

6. My health- something that we all take for granted.
